Upon completion of the course, Participants will have gained the knowledge and skills needed to launch their own organic farm or take their existing farm to the next level, while contributing to a healthier environment and more sustainable food system.
Our program will feature three main topics: black soldier fly farming, azolla farming, and indigenous vegetable farming. These are all innovative and sustainable farming practices that have been gaining popularity in recent years. The black soldier fly is an excellent source of protein and can be used as animal feed or fertilizer. Azolla is a floating fern that is used as a natural fertilizer in rice paddies, and Indigenous vegetable farming focuses on the cultivation of traditional staple foods that are nutritious and resilient.
